They sit back and watch the world regress.

We approach a new age of American. stress

Every anxious youth is put to the test.

No one showed them the truth so they’ll just have to guess.

Distracting the mind with artificial friendship.

Manufactured anxiety, attached to the hip.

Cycles of confusion, a deep, dark trip.

How many of us are slowly losing grip?

The sun goes down and the bed bugs bite.

The heart’s engaged in a never-ending fight.

Pedal to the metal with no end in sight.

We’re all speeding towards a red light.
